About the Job:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong understanding of Agile Methodology projects to support our client. The right candidate will possess a passion for technology and the ability to understand and assess new technologies.
About You:
This position will be a great fit for someone with a proven track record of driving enterprise-scale IT projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, setting timelines, holding people accountable and delivering projects on-time and on budget. Your leadership will help guide the completion of complex solutions created in an Agile environment. Experience developing healthcare applications is a great plus!
Responsibilities:
Scrum needs:
  • Day-to-day facilitation of agile ceremonies
  • Experience leading application development teams.
  • Liaising with central teams to ensure work progresses when team has dependencies, including launching new clients; leading and enabling care hub production deployments
  • Support and execute release planning activities, ensuring sprints are filled to adequate levels and acceptance criteria and are cleared with QA.
  • Managing deployment needs that are technical in nature with third-party vendors to ensure necessary organizational milestones are met (including coordination; implementation timeline creation; risk elevation; etc.)
  • Special project management assistance: supporting assessing impacts to the team and helping to ensure prompt execution when large-scale initiatives roll out across the organization, including corporate rebranding, IVR system changes, etc.
  • Assessing and unblocking the team when disruptions to critical delivery timelines occur
Goals:
  • Project management/ scrum leaders can identify risks, take preventative action to minimize them, and liaise with external teams and vendors to push work forward.
  • Scrum leader has the bandwidth to communicate proactively regarding capacity, and where and how our team can increase velocity based on how the team is progressing work on the roadmap
  • The backlog is filled with refined stories that meet needs and are groomed up to 2+ sprints in advance such that we can pull items forward based on changes in bandwidth, complexity, etc. We can 'get out ahead' of the engineering team's capacity.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with tight deadlines and handling escalations.
  • 5+ years of related experience: managing projects and teams, working with tight deadlines and handling potential escalations, working with Machine Learning concepts
  • Research experience plus
