Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual dedicated to helping students succeed! We have a full-time Intensive Learning Support Teaching Assistant position available at Hanover High School effective at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. This position not only provides academic support to students under the direction of a teacher and assists in enhancing student well-being in the classroom and developing essential life skills, but also supports students during hands-on activities within the community. Teaching Assistants also perform a variety of clerical support functions. This position is school-year, Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day. Pay rate is at least $14.06 per hour minimum. Offered rate is based on experience and internal equity.
Qualifications
Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of a Competency test, which can be taken after hire.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must be cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
