2026 Summer Internship

Genscript USA Inc. will support a Summer Internship Program that provides growth and learning opportunities to students currently pursuing an Undergrad/ Bachelor's degree. 

Interns will be involved in a cohort training program designed to provide students with professional experience in the furtherance of their education. Internships assist students in reaching their educational goals by giving them the opportunity to augment classroom instruction with exposure to real world employment settings.

Overview:

Genscript is currently hiring for a Summer Legal Intern to join our team reporting into the Head of US/EU Legal department. This internship will be based in Piscataway, NJ and the hourly pay-rate is estimated at $20 - $22 per hour. 

This intern will assist GenScript Legal Team Members with day to day Legal tasks. Working on a wide range of Legal and Business related Compliance, Research, and administrative tasks. 

Requirements:

  • Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Pre-Law, Legal or Business Studies
  • Basic understanding of biotechnology/ pharma trends
  • A strong sense of responsibility and a proactive work attitude
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, organized, responsible
