Job Summary:
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Mold Technician Set-Up / Technician working on 2nd shift! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance team in conducting activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures to increase the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, uphold safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
  • Responds to emergencies/breakdowns.
  • Reports all recurring problems with machinery, equipment, and parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
  • Sets calibration and adjusts equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.

  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.

  • Leads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.
  • Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.

Experience:
* High School Diploma/GED required
* 0 - 2 years of proven experience operating plastic injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment.
* Operational knowledge of electric pallet jacks, overhead cranes, etc.
* Working knowledge of production flow and processes
* Adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
  • * Injection molding technical education is preferred
