Belair Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian! We are a progressive client & pet-tailored, 4 DVM practice located just a few minutes outside of Washington DC, and are looking to expand our team to accommodate our growing clientele. We have a collaborative team approach to practicing medicine with a reputation of high standard care in our community. Our veterinarians and staff are passionate about veterinary medicine, continuous learning, and client service-and we look for those attributes in all our candidates.
Our 3,500 square foot facility includes a full surgery suite, dental suite, treatment area, and pharmacy. 8 Veterinary Technicians/Assistants (with combined experience of over 60 years), 4 Client Care Representatives, and Hospital Manager completes our tight-knit team. We see small animals and exotics and we've been serving our community for over 40 years!
Our diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, and in-house blood machines.
Work-Life Balance
We focus on work, life, and family balance. Our practice is closed on Sundays, and our DVMs do not have on-call and no after-hour emergency care as cases are referred to a local ER. Our practice closes by 6pm Tuesday-Friday and 1pm on Saturdays. We prioritize having consistent schedules with our DVMs while also having flexible PTO.
This position is full-time, with ~4 shifts a week and rotating Saturdays (no on-call).
Belair Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to dogs and cats as well as exotics such as birds, reptiles and rodents.
