Job description

Leland is building the home for ambition in the age of AI. We connect people with the experts, programs, and communities they need to land the job, get into the school, or upskill for a world being rewritten by AI. We help businesses become AI-native through training, hiring, and infrastructure. Since our founding in 2021, we've helped tens of thousands of people reach their most ambitious goals and raised $19M from world-class investors. Ambition is sacred to us, and we've built a product that takes that seriously.
We're looking for sharp, AI-native builders to join us as AI Education Interns and help run one of the most ambitious AI training programs in the market. This isn't a shadow-and-learn internship. You'll facilitate live sessions for working professionals, keep curriculum current as AI tools evolve, and help build the systems that power the whole program. If you are an AI enthusiast, can execute without hand-holding, and are able to explain hard concepts simply, we want to talk with you.
What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting live AI Builder Program sessions as an instructor's assistant for cohorts of working professionals
  • QA-ing sessions before they go live and improving curriculum between cohorts as AI tools change
  • Supporting students in Slack, during office hours, and through live troubleshooting
  • Building and maintaining AI automations and systems that power program delivery
  • Helping design new sessions and levels as we expand to Levels 3-5 and bring on B2B custom cohorts

Your qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college program
  • AI-native: you've built automations, workflows, or tools, not just used AI assistants
  • Can explain complex technical concepts clearly to a room of non-technical professionals
  • Available to work 40 hours per week in-person in Lehi, UT office 5 days per week

Your identity:
  • High-agency operator who doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • AI-native builder who actively creates automations and uses AI to move faster and do more
  • Clear communicator who can make hard things click for people who didn't grow up in tech
  • Fast mover who's comfortable with ambiguity and iterates fast
  • Scrappy and gritty, not afraid of the unglamorous work required to actually win
  • Energetic self-starter whose instinct is to figure it out, not ask for permission
  • Patient and collaborative problem-solver with customers learning new technology

What this role unlocks:Strong AI Education Interns become top candidates for full-time roles on Leland AI Services, where companies hire us to come in and implement AI for their teams. Being an intern working on the AI Builder Program is the best training ground we know of for that path. You'll understand AI tools at a depth most professionals never reach, and you'll have real sessions, real students, and real results to prove it.
Why Leland?
  • The chance to join a world-class team helping people achieve their career and educational dreams
  • Work in a collaborative, high-energy environment where your contributions have a direct impact
  • Operate in a fast-paced, AI-native environment
  • We don't hire people who merely want to work for a great company; we hire people who want to make a great company

Leland is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and demographics to apply.
