TRUMPF is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TruServices Order Management Intern to support the sales team with order processing, sales administration, and process improvement projects.

This position will provide hands-on experience with the sales order process from the time an order is received through order completion. The intern will help review orders for accuracy, identify process issues, maintain order information, and assist with projects focused on improving the efficiency and accuracy of the order management process.

The Internship will be from January 2027 to August 2027 for at least 32 hours a week

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, comfortable working with data, and interested in learning how sales and order management processes support the overall customer experience.

  • Assist with reviewing the current order management process and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Document current and future order-processing procedures.
  • Identify repetitive or unnecessary steps within the sales order process.
  • Help develop recommendations to improve order accuracy and processing time.
  • Assist with creating process maps, checklists, and work instructions.
  • Help identify common causes of order delays and develop potential solutions.
  • Track process issues and assist with identifying trends.
  • Support projects designed to improve communication between Sales and Order Management.
  • Assist with developing tools, reports, or spreadsheets that improve order visibility.
  • Help measure the results of process improvements and communicate findings to the team.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education:

Must be a student enrolled in accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate degree in related filed.
