Key Position Details:

Job Description:
Works as a learning consultant by collaborating and partnering with service lines, system capabilities to determine clinical learning needs and wants in service of achieving strategic and tactical goals. Works to place the learner at the center of all decisions. Works in an agile and flexible manner across the system and within the L&D capability.
Principle Responsibilities
  • Learning Consultation
    • Provides learning expertise to enable learner and business success in a clinical setting.
    • Displays expertise in clinical subjects related to areas of work and aligns learning solutions to clinical standards
    • Acts in a consultative manner across the system on all matters learning related in clinical subjects.
    • Works flexibly across business units and locations depending on needs.
    • Displays a clear understanding of strategic and tactical goals of business and capabilities.
    • Provides solution recommendations based on partnership with other areas of L&D.
    • Partners consistently and clearly with other areas of L&D.
    • Provides feedback to business owners & L&D.
    • Presents and understand ROI of learning interventions.
  • Communication
    • Communicates clearly how learning will/will not enable goals.
    • Provides regular communication to business partners, L&D partners and others on status of projects.
    • Guides others to self service solutions when appropriate.
    • Maintains positive, consistent, and effective communication with team members, learners, and departments across the system.
  • Facilitation of Learning
    • Where necessary, facilitates clinical learning events within business areas and in areas of expertise.
    • Partners with subject matter experts to facilitate clinical learning solutions.
    • Creates an engaging and learner focused environment when facilitating.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, other medical fields, Healthcare Clinical Education or applicable work experience
  • 5 to 7 years experience in Learning and Development. Healthcare clinical expertise in education, business area, clinical area, or systems training

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Healthcare or related field or applicable work experience

Pay Range
Pay Range: $44.64 to $61.76 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
