While your classroom experience will be helpful in guiding you along the way, it is the hands-on experience that provides you with the necessary skills to be successful. Qualified candidates should have a strong desire for handsโ€“on learning in commercial construction and will have completed their freshman or sophomore or year in a college or higher education. Internships provide hands on field experience and are located on a jobsite.
