Night Shift Premium - 15% Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5PM-5AM Machine Specialties, Inc. (MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing company that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company is located in Whitsett, NC, about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC.We are searching for experienced and skilled CNC Machinists to join our team. This is an hourly position whose main responsibilities are to maintain production according to our production schedule. This position will report to the Manager of the appropriate department. Duties could include any of the following; Set-up, Operation, and Maintenance of CNC machines. Our top candidates will have exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, an ability to handle complex machines and tools, and a willingness to lead by example.Position Expectations:G & M code fluency and ability to edit programHigh level of blueprint reading requiredProficiency with conversational controls is a plusStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexityCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitudeInterested in learning with, and from, engineering, and programming team to improve operationsWorking to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensionsSetting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobsCommunicate with all levels of company employees / customers while presenting yourself as a positive representative of the company.Maintain a professional attitude at all times.Job Skills and Requirements:1+ Years CNC Machining Experience in a Job Shop, preferredDetail oriented with proven analytical skills.Ability to troubleshoot / problem solve.Meet deadlines while working under minimal supervision.Experience using 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred.Able to lift up to 30lbsAbility to stand for up to 10hrs dailyKnowledge and use of hand toolsAbility to work 45+ hours per week Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans/Disabilities
