Join Intel as a Process Integration and Yield Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in driving yield improvements, quality standards, and manufacturing excellence across Intel's cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. In this critical position, you will leverage advanced data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and cross-functional collaboration to identify and resolve complex yield and quality issues that impact product performance and reliability. Your expertise will directly influence Intel's ability to deliver world-class products to customers while optimizing manufacturing processes for high-volume production. By conducting comprehensive failure analysis, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and developing innovative methodologies, you will contribute to Intel's leadership in semiconductor manufacturing and help shape the future of advanced technology development.
Key Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
• Conduct yield and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions that enhance product yield and reliability
• Analyze structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data mining techniques to extract actionable insights
• Develop and implement advanced methodologies and techniques to improve analysis quality, efficiency, and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product engineering, and manufacturing to resolve complex technical challenges
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement quality programs to optimize manufacturing performance and standards
• Evaluate materials, processes, and techniques used in production to ensure compliance with quality and reliability requirements
• Specify and develop inspection and testing mechanisms to identify and address non-conformances and process deviations
• Lead technology transfer efforts and new product qualifications from development through high-volume manufacturing
• Perform risk assessments and manage process changes to prevent quality excursions and ensure manufacturing readiness
• Develop tools, algorithms, and systems for high-volume data analysis to identify critical process improvements and yield enhancement opportunities
Annual Salary Range for jobs to be performed in Rio Rancho, NM: $165,042 - $198,820 USD
This position requires work at the Intel site at least 4 days per week in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Material Science &/or Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or other STEM-related degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Material Science &/or Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or other STEM-related degree and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
