  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency in day-to-day HR tasks
  • Other duties as required
Recruiting Support:

  • Manage candidate communications and coordinate background checks, credential verifications, and reference checks for successful candidates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (JazzHR)

Project & Special Initiatives Support:

  • Support the creation of training materials, process documents, and presentation decks for hiring managers and new initiatives
  • Help research and benchmark HR best practices to support ongoing projects
  • Assist with drafting and formatting internal communications and process guides
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a University or College co-op program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Registered in a recognized co-op program
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer service orientation when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., JazzHR) and HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) will be an asset
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
Term Details, Compensation & Work Location
  • Term: September 2026 – December 2026 (4-month co-op term)
  • Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity
  • Schedule: 40-hour work week
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in-office
  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing Fall 2026 co-op opportunity
