ASC specializes in rollforming machinery, tooling, and associated equipment utilized for metal processing. ASC is a vertically integrated machinery design and manufacturing company. ASC performs virtually all steps of the manufacturing process. Its primary business is providing equipment for the steel construction industry and the two-piece food and beverage can industry. Leaders in the steel construction industry demand ASC machines. Industries using ASC machines include pre-engineered buildings, metal building components, steel decking, structural beams and grain bin manufacturers. ASC supplies metal-forming equipment to other industries such as lighting, garage door, stamping, heating and air-conditioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and keep records on incoming completed internal manufactured parts.
  • Duties include receiving, verifying and recording incoming manufactured parts. Notify department of parts received or stock parts in appropriate location. Pull, stage and deliver all parts required for jobs as detailed on Production Control Pull Sheet.
  • Examine contents and compare with traveler to verify accuracy of incoming manufactured parts.
  • Deliver or route manufactured parts to bin location, job box or department, using hand truck or forklift.
  • Daily, pull, stage and deliver parts for all departments based on Production Control Pull Sheet or as requested by Departmental Foreman.
  • Determine effective staging, palletizing, etc. Keep warehouse organized. Complete any other duties assigned by the Production/Inventory Manager.
  • Every morning review at least 3 parts returned from Assembly and place part in appropriate warehouse.
  • Take appropriate measures to ensure protection of parts from damage when receiving, pulling, staging, boxing and delivering.

Qualification

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Basic computer skills including excel.
  • Ability to Sit, lift, bend, twist, stand, and walk.
  • Must be able to use the telephone and the computer.
  • Attention to detail.   
  • 1 to 2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
