Job description

Position Title:

Initial Job: General Helper

Once Qualified: Machine Operator

Pay Rate:

$20.81/hr while in probationary period/General Helper role

then $21.76/hr up to $30.32/hr once qualified in position

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm)

3rd Shift (11:00pm- 7:00am)

The Job You Will Perform:

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times;

Count and stack finished product;

Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications; 

Utilize basic shop math;

Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment;

Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;

Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;

Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production;

Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;

Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and

Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

The Skills You Will Bring:

1 year of hands-on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience

Corrugated industry experience preferred

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler

The ability to use basic shop math

The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
