Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Keene, NH
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Shifts Available: Monday through Friday
Schedule: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (some overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00/HR (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work orders and production documentation.

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in assigned areas (Tower, pay-off, take-up, etc.).

  • Load and replace materials, splice product to maintain continuous production.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and reassembly of machines.

  • Assist with basic repairs and coordinate additional maintenance when needed.

  • Operate forklifts or other powered equipment safely (including propane cylinder changes).

  • Record production activity and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Direct helpers and work collaboratively with team members.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous wire and cable industry experience preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to use precision gauges, micrometers, and other measurement tools.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

  • Basic math skills and ability to read/follow instructions.

  • Comfortable using computers for simple data entry.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
