What you bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in machine set-up and computers
  • Minimum 2 years machine operator experience
  • Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.
  • Understanding of key figures and how to maximize output.
  • High mechanical aptitude with experience trouble shooting equipment.
  • The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.

What you will be doing:

  • Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains all machines including but not limited to sanding, shaping, and cutting.
  • Visual inspection of raw materials as entering the area and verification of quality leaving the area.
  • Utilizes all measurements tools to verify all production is in specification. Including but not limited to tape measures, gauge blocks, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Cooperation and supervision of the proper operation of the fleece applying device with all machines and cooperating installations jobs.
  • Physical Work Environment & Conditions
  • Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 12 or more hours during the course of a day.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production facility.
  • Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/downstairs, fast-paced walking for some distance.
  • The ability to lift 60 pounds & 120 pounds with another person.
  • The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height.
  • The ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions for several hours daily while wearing protective + safety equipment required.
