Machine Operator (Full-Time)

Job Summary
CT Polymers is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in person. You will set up and run industrial machinery, manage warehouse materials using a forklift, and maintain high-quality production standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, mathematical accuracy, and the agility to handle physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain simple and complex industrial machinery.
  • Equipment Care: Clean production machinery and remain responsible for company-provided tools.
  • Material Handling: Supply production lines and store materials using a sit-down forklift.
  • Logistics & Prep: Clean boxes, lids, and skids thoroughly before staging them.
  • Documentation: Complete quality control logs, production ledgers, and box tickets legibly.
  • Basic Math: Compute material weights accurately using gross, tare, and net calculations.
  • Collaboration: Participate in shift meetings, training sessions, and communicate with coworkers.

Job Requirements
  • Forklift Experience: Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is mandatory.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 65 pounds.
  • Mobility: Stand, walk, stoop, and bend 80% of the shift.
  • Stamina: Get on and off forklifts repeatedly and stand for long periods.
