Position Overview

The Woodshop Production Associate plays a key role in producing custom wood cornice boards by measuring, cutting, assembling, and inspecting components to meet customer specifications. This hands-on manufacturing position is ideal for someone with woodworking or carpentry experience who enjoys working with tools, values quality craftsmanship, and follows safe work practices.

What you'll do

  • Read production work orders and follow specifications to build custom wood cornice boards.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood components using tape measures and woodworking equipment.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, jigsaws, belt sanders, and staplers.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure accurate measurements, quality, and workmanship.
  • Sand and finish wood components to prepare completed products for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
  • Support other woodshop and production tasks as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinet making, millwork, furniture manufacturing, or a related production environment.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to use production equipment; including power saws
  • Experience operating hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Successful completion of a color vision test.
  • Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Safely operate woodworking machinery and power tools.
