Job description

Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The Industrial Janitor will support manufacturing plant operations with essential functions listed below. Hours will be Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. with occasional overtime. Strict attendance policy is required. Our work environments are safe, clean, and climate controlled. Arrowhead Winch does require applicants to complete a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical as a condition of employment. Industrial Janitor - day shift (Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.)

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Regularly clean manufacturing shop floors, surfaces, and restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment in production facility on a schedule and as needed
  • Empty trash containers, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste materials using forklift as needed
  • Clean restrooms
  • Operate riding floor scrubber machine
  • Assist with on-site event set up and tear down
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and procedures

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to frequently use a mop, broom, and other cleaning equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for 8 to10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to frequently bend and squat.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to apply 65 pounds of push/pull force.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be comfortable with exposure to greases, oils, solvents, and surface coatings.
  • Must be capable of safely working around heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Must be able to see clearly and follow written instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
