 Our company is a manufacturing operation specializing in printed products and machine-driven production processes. Employees value the teamwork, consistent hours, and hands-on experience gained while working alongside skilled machine operators.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, learning machinery operations, and contributing to product quality while building long-term manufacturing xperience.
 
 
Job Summary
The Press Assistant supports machine operators with equipment setup, operation, packing, and quality monitoring. This role plays a key part in maintaining print quality, safe operations, and efficient production flow.
 
Job Duties 
  • Assist machine operators with setups, wash-ups, plate washing, and daily operations
  • Pack product on machinery and monitor print quality at required intervals
  • Communicate material needs, quality issues, and non-conformance to operators and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine and work area
  • Support production by performing additional tasks as needed when machines are down
 
Pay: 15.75/hourly
 
Schedule Monday-Thursday  6:00am-4:00pm CST OT on Friday based on production
 
 
Experience or Skill Requirements
  • Manufacturing or production floor experience preferred
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, hues, and shades
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and rotate between work areas
  • Ability to remain self-directed and productive during downtime
  • Ability to follow safety requirements, including wearing Kevlar gloves when required
