YEAR ROUND - FULL TIME

WAGE- 29.57 HOURLY

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS AFTER 3 MONTHS (Health and Dental)

HOURS : Spring-Fall Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm & Friday 7:30am-12:00pm

Winter: Winter 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday or 10:00am-6:30pm.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position is intended to provide technical services to the Lift Operations and Lift Maintenance departments. These services include, but not be limited to: training of personnel, technical documentation as well design and design review of all lift related systems to assure reliability and full operating capacity of all lift systems and assist in the purchasing of new equipment.

  • Perform electrical maintenance activities.
  • Establish and review operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Watch for hazards and potential hazards involving passengers, employees and machinery.
  • Performs annual routine maintenance and periodic inspections on lifts to ensure reliability and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Advises the Lift Supervisory team of changing conditions or occurrences that may adversely affect the lift machinery and/or its passengers.
  • Record maintenance performed as per Blue Mountain's preventative maintenance program

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

  • Registered as an Electrical Apprentice 2ndYear +
  • Previous experience working with ski lift equipment strongly preferred.
  • Current Ontario Class G Driver's license.
  • Knowledge of building construction as well as TSSA requirements and the Z98 code is required
  • Experience operating off road equipment, ATV, snowmobiles.
  • Able to work at high heights.
