Apprentice Technician โ€“ Entry Level (Manufacturing Facility)

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Apprentice Technician supports the maintenance team by learning and performing basic equipment repairs, routine servicing, and daily operational tasks in a manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced technicians, this entryโ€‘level role focuses on developing mechanical skills, monitoring equipment performance, maintaining tools and documentation, and following all safety and HESS procedures. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn while working on an active production floor.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Shadow experienced technicians to learn maintenance procedures and safety protocols
  • Assist with basic repairs and routine servicing of manufacturing equipment
  • Help monitor machinery performance and report irregularities
  • Participate in equipment installations and setup
  • Maintain tools, workspaces, and documentation with attention to detail
  • Follow all safety and HESS policies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn technical skills in a hands-on environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED required
