Job description

About Machina Labs:
Engineering moves at software speed. Manufacturing doesn't. Yet.
Machina Labs is changing that. We build intelligent, software-defined factories that produce complex metal structures directly from digital design. By integrating advanced metal forming, robotics, and automated production inside a flexible factory architecture, we enable customers to move from prototype to production in weeks, not years.
Backed by Lockheed Martin, Toyota, and NVIDIA, we're building the manufacturing infrastructure that defense, aerospace, and advanced mobility programs will run on.
If you want to work on hard problems that matter and see them fly, drive, and defend, this is the place.
Job Description:
Machina Labs is seeking a Facilities & EHS Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations, organization, maintenance, and safety of our workplace. This hands-on role is responsible for helping maintain a clean, functional, and safe environment across office, warehouse, and manufacturing spaces. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, mechanically inclined, and enjoys supporting a wide variety of facility and workplace initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day upkeep, organization, and appearance of office, warehouse, and common areas.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, minor repairs, furniture assembly, workspace reconfigurations, and workplace improvement projects.

  • Maintain inventory and replenishment of office, kitchen, janitorial, and workplace supplies.

  • Support employee events, meetings, catering, and general workplace operations.

  • Coordinate facility service requests, deliveries, vendors, and contractors as needed.

  • Assist with moving furniture, equipment, materials, and supplies throughout the facility.

  • Support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, including workplace inspections, safety equipment checks, signage, and compliance activities.

  • Help maintain eyewash stations, first aid kits, safety supplies, and required workplace postings.

  • Identify and report facility, maintenance, and safety concerns.

  • Perform other facilities and workplace support duties as assigned.

Required Background & Experience:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to support a variety of operational tasks.

  • Comfortable performing physical work and being on your feet throughout the day.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and general maintenance tasks.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in facilities, maintenance, office operations, warehouse operations, hospitality, manufacturing, or similar hands-on environments.

  • Experience supporting workplace safety or EHS programs.

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety practices.

  • Experience assembling furniture, equipment, or storage systems.

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
