Job Description:

Summary

Looking for an individual with strong communication skills and a proven technical background in enterprise Apple endpoint management. This role will serve as a key technical owner across four primary areas: Apple endpoint management and security, hardware standards and lifecycle support, remote access platform administration, and application deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a strong customer-service mindset, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to translate technical requirements into scalable, secure, and well-documented solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administer and support BeyondTrust remote access services, including virtual appliance configuration, licensing, seat management, access workflows, and operational support
  • Evaluate, validate, and approve Apple hardware standards, peripherals, and endpoint configurations for enterprise use, including Mac, iPad, and iPhone hardware
  • Manage global hardware SKUs and eCommerce bundles to ensure standardized, supportable purchasing and deployment options across regions
  • Own and optimize Apple endpoint security and management configurations through Jamf Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, compliance workflows, and deployment standards
  • Track, manage, and improve macOS, iOS, and iPadOS update strategies to maintain security, compatibility, and alignment with organizational requirements
  • Maintain and support Apple endpoint deployment workflows, including enrollment, provisioning, application deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Manage local administrator password rotation workflows through Jamf and ensure endpoint privilege controls remain secure, reliable, and operationally sustainable
  • Support Jamf Protect workflows, including endpoint security monitoring, configuration management, and coordination with security stakeholders
  • Package, test, deploy, and maintain applications for Apple endpoints, including regular updates for Office, Adobe, and other managed software
  • Manage Apple endpoint apps and features, including approved screensaver updates, user-facing configurations, and managed software delivery
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex Apple endpoint, remote access, deployment, security, and application issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong communication with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and knowledgebase articles for supported platforms and workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve endpoint standards, streamline processes, strengthen security posture, and enhance the end-user experience

Required Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices in a global enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing Apple endpoints using Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager
  • Experience managing Apple endpoint security configurations, compliance workflows, and OS update strategies
  • Experience packaging, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications for macOS endpoints
  • Experience supporting Jamf Protect workflows or similar endpoint security platforms
  • Experience with BeyondTrust or similar remote access platforms, including access administration, licensing, and support workflows
  • Working knowledge of Apple hardware standards, peripheral validation, procurement standards, and global hardware lifecycle considerations
  • 3+ years Bash, Shell, or Python scripting experience
  • Strong understanding of supporting technologies such as networking, wireless authentication, security, VPN, storage, certificates, identity, and endpoint compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint, deployment, access, software, and security issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and end users
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for device management, endpoint security, software lifecycle management, and compliance
  • Jamf 200 Certification

  • Jamf 300+ Certification
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification
  • Experience with Jamf Protect, endpoint detection workflows, or security operations integrations
