The Role
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment? We 're looking for a dedicated Counter Attendant to join our team. If you're enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a customer-focused setting, we want to hear from you!
This is a full-time, fully on-site position. This role is eligible for tips. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages to members and guests promptly and with a smile. You'll be a key player in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining clear communication with team members and other departments.
What You'll Do
  • Customer Service: Deliver enthusiastic, prompt, and positive service to all members, guests, and employees.
  • Stock Replenishment: Regularly replenish stock items as needed.
  • Cleaning Duties: Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks as directed by your team lead, supervisor, or manager.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare espresso drinks and smoothies to our high standards.
  • Food Preparation: Make deli sandwiches and hot items such as hot dogs, pizza, and pretzels.
  • Transaction Handling: Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions efficiently.
  • Sanitation: Practice proper sanitation and food handling procedures at all times.
  • Daily Operations: Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all club safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Bring
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Certifications: Valid Food Handler's and OLCC (18 and older only) card mandatory.

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar environment (coffee shop, sandwich shop) preferred.

  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

  • Menu Knowledge: Strong understanding of the menu to answer questions from members or guests.

  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and decision-making skills.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, members, and employees.
