Job description

Position Overview

Execution Director (M7) for the AIM-9X Sidewinder Program, headquartered in Tucson, AZ. Responsible for Production, Sustainment, and Capacity Expansion across the AIM-9X enterprise. Onsite with an active U.S. Secret security clearance required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all AIM-9X Production, Sustainment, Depot, and Capacity Expansion contracts, managing P&L, AOP, and key financial metrics.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to existing Production PM and Sustainment/Capacity PM teams.
  • Deploy and sustain an execution methodology that delivers clear visibility into schedule, cost, factory performance, and risk across all execution portfolios.
  • Build a strong team culture focused on collaboration, transparency, accountability, and leadership development.
  • Drive factory throughput improvements and lead recovery efforts across new-build production and depot repair to achieve on-time delivery goals for U.S. Government and foreign military sales customers.
  • Develop and execute capacity growth strategies aligned with future demand ramps, including factory capability improvements, capital planning, and workforce shaping.
  • Partner closely with Transition-to-Production (TTP) leadership to ensure smooth introduction of new configurations into production and sustainment environments.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer counterparts, leading regular execution updates and forward-planning discussions.
  • Oversee proposal development and investment strategies in support of follow-on production, sustainment, and capacity contracts.
  • Engage supplier leadership and internal supply chain to drive corrective actions, strengthen material availability, and align supplier capability with factory demand.
  • Serve as a key member of the AIM-9X Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategy, execution priorities, and long-term program positioning.
What You Will Learn
  • Raytheon and RTX business acumen, including SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities among programs and functional areas, and deliverables.
Qualifications

Required

  • University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • Prior experience leading profit &P&L for DoD production or sustainment contracts.
  • Prior experience with leading complex production, sustainment, or depot efforts.
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams and managing metrics through EAC reviews.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred

  • Program Management Level 4 Certification.
  • Experience working in high-tempo execution environments requiring rapid issue resolution and recovery planning.
  • Experience with munitions production or sustainment programs.
  • Experience leading teams of program managers or multi-portfolio execution organizations.
  • Strong proficiency partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering.
  • Proven track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management and production performance metrics.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Salary range: 186,200 USD – 353,800 USD.
