Position Overview

The Woodshop Production Associate plays a key role in producing custom wood cornice boards by measuring, cutting, assembling, and inspecting components to meet customer specifications. This hands‑on manufacturing position is ideal for someone with woodworking or carpentry experience who enjoys working with tools, values quality craftsmanship, and follows safe work practices.

What you'll do
  • Read production work orders and follow specifications to build custom wood cornice boards.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood components using tape measures and woodworking equipment.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, jigsaws, belt sanders, and staplers.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure accurate measurements, quality, and workmanship.
  • Sand and finish wood components to prepare completed products for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
  • Support other woodshop and production tasks as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned
Who you are
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinet making, millwork, furniture manufacturing, or a related production environment.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to use production equipment; including power saws
  • Experience operating hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Successful completion of a color vision test.
  • Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Safely operate woodworking machinery and power tools.
