Delivery Driver (Heavy Lifting Required) - The requirements for this job are very different from food or grocery delivery.

Starting at $19.50 an hour, could be higher based off of experience.

Our shipping department is looking for someone who isn't afraid of hard work (lifting in excess of 50 lbs, working in the heat, organizing truck layouts, load etc). You would be a part of a team that helps prepare Florida, Texas, the entire East Coast, the Caribbean, Mexico, and more protect lives and belongings from devastating hurricanes.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in Florida, FL. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products to our customers. You will be driving a box truck and will need to be able to follow delivery routes. This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid and clean driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry heavy weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Experience driving box trucks 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work in the shop if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with route delivery
• Familiarity with the Florida

Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle
• Follow delivery routes to ensure efficient delivery
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Follow the laws of the road and be safe while driving

Skills:

As a Delivery Driver, you will need to have strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. You will also need to be have a strong attention to detail. Physical stamina is a must, as you will be lifting and carrying heavy weight and standing for long periods of time. Additionally, being a team player is essential to ensure efficient and effective delivery. Finally, experience with 26 foot box trucks with air breaks is preferred to ensure safe and accurate delivery. The first few weeks of the position will be spent in the shop learning our products and processes.

• Only work Monday - Thursday from 6:00 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. However, due to unforeseen traffic problems you could return later than 4:45 P.M. (Enjoy a three day weekend!)
