JOB DESCRIPTION


JOB TITLE: Account Manager

DEPARTMENT: Aerospace Sales, Oil and Gas

REPORTS TO: General Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A


GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:


The account manager is responsible for sales of JAE Aerospace products to primarily the Oil and Gas Upstream market but could include additional markets including Geothermal, HDD, and Mining. The Sales Director’s primary efforts will be: 1) the development of increased sales and market share for a list of key accounts as set by the General Manager, 2) the development of new applications for JAE Aerospace products, and 3) the identification of potential new JAE Aerospace products.


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  1. Achieve booking and sales objectives assigned by the General Manager.
  2. Meet JAE customers and prospects to promote JAE products and technology.
  1. Provide formal sales analysis, and forecasts (twice annually) for budgeting purposes on standard JAE Aerospace products and application specific products/programs that have been identified by sales activity.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies for each key account.
  3. Report to management sales activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  4. Interface with Product Management regarding the potential development of any new products.
  5. Participate in industry trade association meetings and committees as deemed necessary.
  6. Represent JAE at various industry trade shows.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  2. Japanese language and culture knowledge is a plus.



BUSINESS TRAVEL:


This position will require regional travel and some international travel. Travel may be required up to 30% of the time.


PHYSICAL DEMAND:


This position requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
