The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean and welcoming home for our residents in our care community. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the daily living environment of those we serve – ensuring their spaces are cared for, and truly like home. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room 
  • Clean bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
  • Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
  • Clean the shower room
  • Pack and move personal items for room changes
  • Clean and change out beds as needed
  • Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
  • Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use
  • Collaborate with team members to support residents and promote a positive living environment
