Job description

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead a private Montessori school in Virginia Beach.

-The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in Administration, with experience in a leadership role, effectively manage staff, and oversee school development.

-Must have a positive, calm, and upbeat personality with dedication and hard work.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in business management or child development Associate Credential (CDA), or any related fields.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to manage day-to-day school operations independently

· Ability to increase student enrollment

· Ability to conduct school tours and ensure registrations

· Oversee and supervise all staff effectively

· Collect tuition and money accurately and efficiently

· Answer incoming emails and calls

· Solid Time management skills and multitasking

Skills:

· Proficient in computer technology

· Skilled in strong professional communication/ public speaking to parents/staff

Exceptional leadership skills with a history of supervising successfully

  • Strong written and communication skills

- Full 12-month contract position

- Work Hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm M-F with a daily 1/2-hour lunch break

Salary: From 50,000-55,000 annually (depending on experience) with performance based annual salary increments
