Travel Cath Lab Tech – Explore a High-Impact Role in Dubuque, IA
Duration: 13-week assignment (potential for extension)
Schedule: 3x12s | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | One on-call weekend per month

Pay Package

  • Taxable Wages: $1,116/week
  • Nontaxable Stipend: $1,246/week
  • Total Gross Weekly Pay (36 hrs): $2,362

What You’ll Do

As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Cath Lab Tech), you’ll play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions through minimally invasive procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
  • Supporting physicians during catheter-based procedures and emergencies
  • Monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms and implanted cardiac devices
  • Maintaining a sterile field and assisting with triple lumen catheter placement
  • Managing lab equipment and performing administrative tasks
  • Ensuring accurate patient records, inventory, and documentation
  • Collaborating in a high-performance, team-oriented clinical environment

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or a related field

Certifications (Preferred/Required):

  • BLS and ACLS (required)
  • RCISARRTEKGIABPCPRPALS (preferred)

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Cardiac arrhythmia recognition
  • Sterile technique and patient monitoring
  • Proficiency with radiographic imaging and cath lab protocols
