As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon's business goals.

core responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer I with deep expertise in scripting and Content Management Systems, preferably Contentful to help shape and evolve the backbone of our content storage and delivery platform. In this role, you'll design scalable systems, write wellarchitected services, and influence the technical direction of our CMS ecosystem that powers billions of requests. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive initiatives that keep our systems healthy, resilient, and futureproof.

Design, build, and enhance our content storage infrastructure, a foundational component supporting billions of requests daily. Work hands-on with AWS services using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices. Partner closely with teams across the content storage, content delivery, and CMS platform domains.

Experience building and deploying custom apps within Contentful, including App Framework development, hosted extensions, workflows, functions, webhooks, and broader platform integrations. Develop and maintain services built in Typescript. Lead improvements in our CMS workflows, automation, and integrations, especially around Contentful.

Identify and mitigate operational risks by anticipating potential bottlenecks and failure points. Enhance reliability, performance, and observability across systems. Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.

Mentor teammates, share knowledge, and help cultivate a culture of safe experimentation and continuous improvement. qualifications 5+ years of industry experience in software development or systems engineering, with strong scripting skills. Proven experience working with CMS platforms, Contentful experience is highly preferred.

Deep hands-on experience with core AWS services: DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, ElastiCache, SNS/SQS. Expertise with Terraform and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of CDN architecture and cache invalidation strategies, including TTL design, cache-busting, and purge mechanisms for high-availability distributed systems.

Proficiency in at least one programming language: Typescript or JavaScript. Familiarity with observability stacks and tools like Splunk, Cloudwatch and DataDog. Strong problemsolving skills with a track record of proposing practical, scalable solutions.

compensation and benefits package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$147,300 - $193,300 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus programm, subject to program eligibility requirements.
