As a Class A Truck Driver at Beacon Recycling, you'll serve as one of the primary points of contact between our company and our customers throughout West Michigan. You'll safely operate roll off and lugger trucks to transport scrap metal between customer locations and Beacon facilities while providing exceptional service along the way. Your day will include managing routes, performing vehicle inspections, securing loads, communicating with customers, and ensuring material is transported safely and efficiently. Every stop is an opportunity to strengthen customer relationships and represent Beacon's commitment to professionalism and reliability.

Location: West Michigan

Role: Class A Truck Driver (Roll Off & Lugger Operations)

Experience: 1+ year of Class A driving experience preferred

Core Focus: Safe transportation, customer service, and operational reliability

Key Skills: Communication, professionalism, accountability, problem solving, safety awareness

Requirements:
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in varying conditions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
• Roll Off or Lugger experience
• Manual transmission experience
• Doubles endorsement
• Heavy haul experience
• Scrap metal or recycling industry experience

Physical Requirements:
• Climbing in and out of truck cabs throughout the day
• Securing loads and inspecting equipment
• Walking customer sites and yard locations
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
