Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), route optimization software, and basic understanding of DOT regulations is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities help you handle changing schedules and coordinate effectively with drivers and customers. These skills are crucial to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries and smooth operations in the fast-paced freight industry.
