Overview:

The State of Oklahoma is expanding its PeopleSoft Financials environment and implementing Phase II modules across multiple agencies. This role supports a large-scale statewide financial system modernization effort within a government Finance Center of Excellence. The position blends functional and technical responsibilities supporting production systems, enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and troubleshoot PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 production environment

• Assist with statewide Financials Phase II implementations across agencies

• Translate business/accounting requirements into technical solutions

• Develop and support PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL, and BI Publisher components

• Support Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, General Ledger, Grants, and related modules

• Perform system testing, upgrade validation, and patch analysis

• Create technical documentation, training guides, SOPs, and test scripts

• Support PeopleSoft Test Framework activities and regression testing

• Work directly with business users, analysts, developers, and stakeholders

• Identify risks/issues and communicate impacts to leadership

• Maintain statewide accounting configurations and standards

• Support workflow design and system enhancements

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years PeopleSoft Financials experience (9.2 required)

• Strong experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher

• Experience supporting multiple Financial modules (AP, GL, T&E, Grants, etc.)

• Experience with upgrades, patches, testing, and implementations

• Experience working in government or large enterprise environments preferred

• Familiarity with PUM Image 53 strongly preferred

• Ability to support both functional and technical responsibilities

• Solid understanding of accounting/business processes
