Take advantage of a rare opening at our pharmacy! Join our dynamic team as a licensed Pharmacy Technician, where your experience will play a vital role in our pharmacy's operation. In this positive and upbeat environment, you will support the pharmacist by entering prescriptions, billing insurance (and troubleshooting rejections), managing inventory, and providing outstanding customer service to patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation.
  • Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems
  • Troubleshoot insurance rejections and handle prior authorizations.
  • Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.
Experience
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail pharmacy is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
  • Experience with PrimeRx/Micromerchant is preferred but not required.
  • Certification and ability to administer vaccinations is not required but highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
