Job Summary:
LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. They are looking to hire a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to design, build, and operate large-scale trading platforms, specifically for FX trading and related services, with a focus on low latency experience.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Closely working with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX engineering.
โ€ข Design, development and support of trading venue.
โ€ข Ongoing support and development of cloud services including working with product development groups to build cloud aware applications
โ€ข Develop automated processes to prevent, identify, and fix problems that impact service availability
โ€ข Identify and deliver improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, & reliability.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Strong Java programming skills and experience writing clean code
โ€ข Data structures and Algorithms
โ€ข Expertise in concurrency and performance optimization
โ€ข Deep understanding of system architecture and memory management
โ€ข Proficient in profiling tools
โ€ข Experience with specialized libraries and frameworks for low-latency applications
โ€ข Knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP), network performance, and techniques for optimizing network communication
