We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekends. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing nursing services for our residents on the unit assigned. About the Role:

As a RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures

  • Reviewing complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and reporting to the Director of Nursing as required

  • Maintaining an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, and notifying appropriate personnel of needs

  • Assisting in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident

  • Making nursing/aide assignments as indicated

  • Encouraging staff to attend and participate in outside training programs and scheduling times as appropriate

  • Reviewing nurses' notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an RN or LPN

  • Current Florida RN or LPN license

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

  • Background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
