Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team!. The LPN is responsible for assessing participant health needs, screening for withdrawal or mental health issues, coordinating medical care, and ensuring safe, supportive recovery services while supporting continuity of care in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other providers.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Shift: 5, 8-hour hour shifts 11PM to 7:30AM
  • Days: Thursday through Monday
  • Provide comprehensive participant care, including admission health assessments.
  • Document medical assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Lead shift medical operations and care delivery.
  • Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, intoxication risk, and overall health status.
  • Perform physical and psychiatric screenings as needed.
  • Provide wound care and administer breathalyzer testing when required.
  • Administer and document medications promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor participant progress and determine appropriateness for continued treatment within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Current New Mexico LPN license (required to legally practice).
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
  • Valid New Mexico driver's license and clean driving record.
