Pay Range: $38-$43 DOE

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit
  • administer and record medications/treatments as ordered
  • Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary
  • Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary
  • Collaborates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
  • Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary
  • Communicate with Providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
  • Provide direct care to residents as needed
  • Direct unit staff as necessary
  • Report to direct supervisor (Unit Nurse Manager) all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current and Valid LPN license
    • Multistate licenses must be accompanied by the 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
  • First aid and CPR certifications
