OVERVIEW:

The Systems Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The successful candidate will manage the customerโ€™s Microsoft Identity Manager and MS SQL environment by performing the following: Support virtual Windows servers in production and lab, support products and technologies such as: Microsoft Identity Manager portal, sync engine, RDBMS, MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), VisualStudio, tSQL, C#, understand interactions with Active Directory, MS Exchange, and other customer applications, maintain data integrity and data flow and perform troubleshooting, configuration changes, application patches, OS patches as needed. Database experience is needed for this role.


GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/software/devices, etc.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
  • Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, et al.
  • Build, configure, monitor, and maintain virtual environments.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ten (10) years' experience as a system administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional system administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Certification Requirement: MCSA-Serv 2008 or 2012. Or MCSE-Serv Server Infra or Desktop Infra or Messaging or Communication or SharePoint. Or MCITP - Serv Administrator Win 8 or IT Professional Windows Server or Virtualization Admin or Exchange server or Enterprise messaging admin on exchange 2010 . Or Linux+ or LPIC 1 or RHCSA or Sun Certified SCSA or VMWare Cert Prof V sphere 5 or VCP 5. Or Network+ or Storage+ or equivalent.

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required
