Job description

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Social Work - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
Our client is seeking a LPC, Psychologist, or Licensed Medical Social Worker for their newly created Mental Healthcare wing. The right candidate should be comfortable in providing counseling to clients in order to facilitate human development and adjustment throughout the lifespan; prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental or emotional or behavioral disorders and associated distresses that interfere with mental health; conduct assessments and evaluations to establish treatment goals and objectives; plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans using counseling treatment interventions that include counseling, assessment, consulting, referral; promote counseling services to the community at large.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LMSW-ACP, LPC, PH.D. Psychologist) with at least 2 years of experience in a Mental Health setting.
Thorough knowledge of medical record requirements; including familiarity with Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.
Ability to establish rapport and relate to clients, families, community agencies and groups, and variety of service discipline.
Familiarity with research based Psychotherapeutic Interventions
