Betis’ Youth & Family Support Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, establishing personalized treatment strategies tailored to individual circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to various groups, individuals, and families.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide holistic care and integrate services effectively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training that keeps you abreast of the latest mental health research.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including youth and families facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients often include those from historically underserved communities, thus requiring sensitivity and an understanding of varying cultural backgrounds. As an LPC, your role will be to foster an inclusive environment where all clients feel respected, heard, and empowered in their mental health journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling.
• Previous work in community health settings or with marginalized populations.
• Demonstrated ability to apply diverse therapeutic techniques to meet varied client needs.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
