This position operates on a full-time, remote basis, offering flexibility that empowers you to manage your own schedule while delivering essential counseling services. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team available seven days a week to assist with any technical or care-related questions, ensuring you and your clients experience seamless telehealth interactions.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions utilizing telehealth platforms, creating a safe virtual space for client discussions.
• Performing comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including session notes, treatment goals, and progress reports.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client progress and achieve desired outcomes.
• Participating in regular team meetings to collaborate with peers, share best practices, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Your clients will range widely in demographics and mental health needs, from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to navigating complex life transitions. You will be integral in providing culturally competent care, tailoring your therapeutic approach to respect and meet the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients throughout Independence, Missouri, and beyond.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster genuine rapport with clients.
• The ability to maintain a private, professional workspace conducive to therapy sessions.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience managing their own caseload and those holding dual or multi-state certifications would be highly valued in our diverse practice environment. At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we value our team members and offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full-time counselors are eligible for a healthcare stipend after meeting specific requirements.
