Job description

Creative Hope Counseling is a Christian counseling practice seeking a Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist (LPCC, LPC, MFTC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our dynamic team of mental health professionals. This is a W2 position with a flexible schedule, seeing 20-30 clients a week. We see clients ages 3 to adult with a variety of mental health concerns, with a high trauma population. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexible hours, wants to make their own schedule, and is ready to join a busy practice with a great team!

Provisionally Licensed Therapist - Our highly qualified clinical supervisor is dedicated to providing you with the supervision and support you need to move forward and manage a caseload with skill and confidence. You will have the opportunity to work towards multiple licenses and certifications without having to pay for additional supervision.

Fully Licensed Therapist- If you are fully licensed and now interested in becoming a Registered Play Therapist, Expressive Therapist, or learning more about art therapy, we have a highly qualified supervisor who can assist you in working towards these goals!

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
  • Integrate Christian faith into therapy when clinically appropriate and aligned with client preferences
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers, schools, and other providers as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in supervision (for pre-licensed clinicians)

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Licensed or actively pursuing licensure (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or associate/intern status)
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, or family systems
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
  • You could also work with just adults or a mixture
  • Play therapy training or interest (or willingness to pursue) if you would like to work with kids
  • Comfort integrating faith into therapy upon client request
  • Experience with the foster care system, EMDR, or RPT a plus
  • Ability to work evenings a plus
