Star Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role operates within a community health clinic setting. Our remote model allows counselors to work from their preferred environment while maintaining a strong connection with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and personalized evaluations to identify the most effective treatment approaches for each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide range of mental health issues.
• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailoring each approach to meet the unique needs of clients.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists to guarantee comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and legal regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and staying updated on current research in mental health.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.
• Sound understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a team of health professionals.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant clinical software.

• Experience in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or family therapy is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment and manage caseloads efficiently.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
