Key Responsibilities
  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, build rapport, and learn effective coping strategies from one another.
  • Individual Counseling: Provide personalized, empathetic therapy to assist clients in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing coping mechanisms tailored to their unique situations.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific mental health needs and goals.
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback mechanisms to evaluate progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to enhance client outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in close partnership with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular communication, care coordination, and case consultation to ensure holistic client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic is often navigating significant transitions in life that may involve academic, social, and emotional challenges. Your role will be crucial in providing the necessary support and resources to help them navigate these complexities and build a framework for recovery and future success.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required; candidates with a Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field are preferred.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and experience working with adolescents and young adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client and team interactions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in group therapy facilitation and individual counseling within community health settings.
  • Familiarity with treatment modalities that resonate with young adults, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Prior experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team is highly advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
