Licensed or Provisionally Licensed Therapist | W-2 Position
Moonstone Wellness | Laramie, Wyoming


Moonstone Wellness is a growing mental health counseling practice with two locations in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. We provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Our work is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care and the belief that meaningful therapeutic relationships are at the heart of effective counseling.

As Moonstone continues to grow, we are looking for another exceptional clinician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is not only clinically skilled, but also warm, dependable, collaborative, curious, and genuinely invested in the people they serve. We value clinicians who want to continue learning, welcome consultation and feedback, and enjoy being part of a team while maintaining autonomy in their clinical work.

This is a W-2 clinical position providing outpatient mental health counseling at Moonstone Wellness.

Clinicians have flexibility in developing their schedules within available clinic hours and are provided with a professional, fully furnished office space.

Moonstone maintains a strong referral base and active community presence, allowing clinicians to focus primarily on providing excellent clinical care.

Full-time clinicians should be prepared to maintain approximately 20–27 client sessions per week.

Clinical Responsibilities


The clinician will:

  • Provide ethical, compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate, clinically appropriate, and timely documentation.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment based on individual needs.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, community agencies, and other professionals when clinically appropriate and authorized.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, consultation, and supervision as applicable.
  • Maintain required licensure, insurance, continuing education, and professional credentials.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute positively to the culture, reputation, and mission of Moonstone Wellness.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another appropriate clinical mental health discipline.
  • Graduate program must meet applicable accreditation and Wyoming licensing requirements.
  • Current or eligible Wyoming mental health licensure, including LPC, PPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent credential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team.

Provisionally licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply. Moonstone provides regular supervision, consultation, and support as clinicians develop their professional identity and clinical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience or training in one or more of the following:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • EMDR
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • TF-CBT or other trauma-focused modalities
  • Child and adolescent counseling
  • Play therapy
  • Couples or family therapy
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Attachment and relational work
  • Other evidence-based or specialized clinical approaches

EMDR training or certification is highly valued but not required. We are equally interested in clinicians who demonstrate strong clinical potential and a genuine commitment to developing advanced skills.

Schedule

Moonstone has office availability seven days per week, allowing clinicians flexibility in establishing their schedules based upon office availability, client needs, and practice expectations.

Full-time clinicians are generally expected to maintain approximately 20–27 completed client sessions per week.


Work Location: In person in Laramie, Wyoming.


Compensation

$87–$250 per clinical hour, depending upon payer reimbursement, credentialing, and services provided.

This is a W-2 employee position.
