Position Description
PCM Services is a leading commercial contractor based in Beltsville, MD, serving the DC/Baltimore metro area. We specialize in providing high-quality construction services to a diverse range of clients. As part of our growth strategy, we are currently seeking a Lowboy Driver to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and debris to and from job sites. This role requires attention to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a lowboy to transport and deliver materials as directed.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper weight distribution.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers, dispatchers, and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure materials are delivered in a timely and safe manner.
